Thirty plus years later B.O. now has more than 100 best appearing paintjobs to his credit. B.O.’s travels have not limited him to the paint booth as he is an accomplished race announcer having worked for NHRA, IHRA, ADRL, ESPN, SPEED, LUCAS OIL, and many more. His race announcing career started at Bunker Hill Drag Strip in the early 80’s then moving on to O’Rielly Raceway Park in the early 90’s. In the mid 90’s B.O. got the bug to start racing again. He pursued this desire by purchasing a 1966 Chevy II to race in the SS/GA class in NHRA and IHRA competitions. In the following years the car would progress from -.50 under the index to -1.25 under the index, become a NHRA National Record Holder, and multiple time #1 qualifier. The natural progression from Super Stock to Competition Eliminator occurred in 2001 with the birth of his hometown themed Circus City Flyer A/ND . The car debuted in June of 2001 with a good promise that eventually led to an NHRA National Record in September. Currently B.O. is working with ADRL and the Versus channel. |
At a young age Brian Olson, commonly known as B.O., started building model cars in exact detail. The ability to tune into such precise details, and his love for creativity drove him to do bigger and better custom jobs.
First B.O. decided to conquer the art of custom bicycle building, and then at 14 he moved on to cars. His love of cars began at age 9 because he was always riding his bicycle to Bunker Hill Drag strip every weekend.
From that point on he was hooked; at 16 he accomplished his first candy red paintjob. This same paintjob would later go on to win best appearing at an NHRA national event in Columbus Ohio.
